為了國家整體利益,犧牲小數人是在所難免,嗎?

沖繩佔日本面積0.6%,美軍軍事基地負擔卻佔全日本 74.4%,二次世界大戰結束後,日本政府與美國國防部共同同意,將沖繩作為日本的美軍基地,以保護整個東亞地區。

96年時,為回應沖繩大規模的抗議,美軍決縮減基地範圍,但交換條件之一,則是在日政府要圍繞東村高江聚落四周新設6處直升機坪基地。高江居民被迫承受美日政府片面決定,其靜坐抵抗運動更遭日本政府以妨害通行之名提訴。

本片除了記錄多年來高江居民在行政權、司法權雙重壓迫下展開的公民抵抗運動,也收錄2012年沖繩縣民大會與為抗議普天間基地部署魚鷹直昇機而展開封鎖基地的鬥爭。

今天,沖繩縣仍在抗爭中。

this documentary recorded actions taken by takae residents under the pressure from both administration and administration of justice. it also recorded the road blocking action against allocation of osprey in marine corps air station futenma.

today, okinawa is still struggling.

「道德淪喪」?要出賣自己的哪一部份謀生才算是?

你我在呼天搶地爭取最低工資、標準工時、僱員合理對待之時,又有幾多人曾關注她/他每天在毫無保障、隨時遭打、騙、拘捕卻勞心勞力的工作?

性工作究竟是選擇、興趣、壓迫、破壞、職業、專業……?

在她/他們的眼中,性工作是可敬的專業、是養老活兒的正當交易,卻飽受所謂專業人士的欺壓、至親的冷眼、顧客的虐待……於是 11年前,印度一群女性工作者自發組成同行工會,將單打獨鬥的無力化成強大的支援與守望。

這,是她們的故事……

大家還記得,何文田林寶遭警員「合法被殺」,與警方高調「誤拘」美林邨歐弟事件嗎?

在美國,idriss stelley 在戲院中被警方槍殺;asa sullivan 在借宿處的閣樓遭槍斃。

警方出動不合常理的人力物力,找出各種蛛絲馬跡,以證明受害/被殺的人是咎由自取的。

究竟是在什麼時候,社會才會注意到這些人的存在?大眾對於警察的處理方法,又有什麼反應?

痛失至親的家屬好友,如何面對創傷,從悲慟中自救,再據理力爭?

do you remember the “lawful killing" of limbu dil bahadur in ho man tin? or the high-profile “mistaken arrest" of au in sha tin’s mei lam estate?

in the u.s., idriss stelley is shot to death by the police inside a movie theater. and asa sullivan is gunned down in an attic crawl space.

in each instance, law enforcement deployed an incredible amount of resources to dig up everything and anything to prove that a victim of police violence deserved to be harmed.

will we ever develop a collective capacity to perceive the existence of these stories of violence? how do we view the ways in which the police has intervened in each of these situations?

how do we face and survive the trauma and pain of losing loved ones to such violence? and go on to fight the powers that be?

兩年前在台灣佔領立法院以反對簽訂《海峽兩岸服務貿易協議》的運動中,出現了「公廁解放論壇」。帶著不同身份的人,無論是組織者、義工或參與者,聚集在醫療通道的邊緣,討論著想討論甚麼,討論如何面對壟斷的大台,及衍生的決策。

身為大型行動現場無名的持份者,能否撼動星光大台行禮如儀的決策?
有效的相互溝通該如何發生呢?
抗爭中的人如何逐層打破壓迫呢?

從這套運動聚光燈外的紀錄片,我們試著窺看「運動中的運動」,是如何發生。

the occupy taiwan legislature happened two years ago was to protest against the passing of the cross-strait service trade agreement. during the movement, an open forum appeared next to a public toilet. different people with different identities, such as organizers, volunteers or participants, all assembled at the edge of the ‘emergency access’. they discussed what should be discussed, how to face the main stage monopoly and the decision developed from them.

as the on-site anonymous stakeholders in a big movement, can the ceremonial/stick-to-the-rule decisions, made by the main stage full of stars, be questioned?

how can effective and interactive communication happen?
how can people in various struggles strike through oppression in different levels?

in this documentary, from the scene out of the spotlight, we try to glimpse how the “movement in the movement” can happen.

走出社會的焦點以後,菜園村村民嘗試在政府無法兌現保障市民基本生活條件的承諾時,自行解決建村安居所面對的各種阻撓。

「他們都不是這樣佔領的」

在動蕩不安的60年代後期,受到嚴重的貧窮與房屋問題影響下,數百曾經歷大型社運的年青人佔據了丹麥哥本哈根市中心的廢棄軍營,劃地自居,宣告自由城的成立,以自治的形式與政府體制對抗。1971年起,當時的政治氣候也讓這個地方得以「社會實驗」的名義存在。不過christiania「無政府」、「藥自由」、「土地公有」等意識成為了丹麥政府的眼中釘。在過去的四十多年,居民未停歇地應付政府「清除計劃」的衝擊,但這個另類集體內的每一個人如何面對内在的商議及外在的持續戰爭?如何將佔領與生活結合?而又怎樣共同建築起這樣的平等自治社區?

處處皆自由。為建設一個個心中理想的自治社區,你,要不要堅持?

“They didn’t occupy like that."

In the turbulent late 1960s, severely affected by poverty and housing problems, hundreds of young people, who had experienced the large-scale social movement, occupied the abandoned army barracks in the center of copenhagen, Denmark. they then declared the establishment of the freetown and confronted the form of government with autonomy.

since 1971, the political climate has enabled this place to exist as " social experiment", however, christiania’s. “government-free", “drug freedom", " land co-ownership" have become the thorn in Danish government’s flesh. in the past forty years, the residents were endlessly tackling with the government’s “elimination plan”. as individuals of this alternative collective, how could they face the consensus building internally and those frequent battle externally? How could occupation and life be combined? how could this autonomy and equality community be built?

freedom everywhere. constructing the ideal autonomous community, will you insist on?

香港基督徒學生福音團契fellowship of evangelical students


在香港,農業長期被置於與經濟發展敵對的位置。2008年政府宣佈清拆石崗菜園村,興建廣深港高鐵,令更多人關心香港土地政策問題,亦開始反省香港城鄉發展,促使有更多生活和農業的想像出現。部分人選擇離開原來的職場,全職投身做農夫。帶著對耕種的想像,由對耕種零認識,邊學邊做,謀生之餘又貫徹理念。

影片由兩名香港青年農夫出發,繼而走訪台灣和日本,探訪兩地的新農夫,交換對自然農法的經驗和永續發展的想法,體驗跨地域和跨代的農夫們之間的經驗傳承。而不同地方的政府有什麼農業發展政策,給農夫實質的支持,並令他們依存的農業經濟有更大的發展空間和自由?在面對房地產發展,氣候變化等等挑戰,新農夫們怎樣走出一片天地呢?

砍殺外地遊客﹑記者﹔在巴黎、也門﹑雅加達﹑伊斯坦堡發動炸彈襲擊﹔各地狂熱份子投身的軍隊席捲敍利亞﹑伊拉克- 面對isis,各國聞風色變,卻也束手無策。真正有效抗擊isis的,不是終日錯殺平民的美軍無人機,而是庫爾德人民保衛隊(ypg)和女子人民保衛隊 (ypj)。

同時面對isis攻擊和土耳其轟炸,這班腹背受敵的庫爾德女子,不單勇敢地拿起槍枝,擊退威脅她們家人與社區的isis軍隊,更透過民主方式組織共同體,擺脫敍利亞和土耳其獨裁政權對庫爾德族人的暴政。

節目中的影片,除簡介了她們的前線日常,也展示了女兵們希望與各地的人民﹑女性一起,對抗父權和資本主義制度的各種壓迫的願景。

她們,抵抗的不只是子彈,而我們,也站在同一條戰線上。

slaughtering tourists and journalists; suicidal bombing in paris, yemen, jakarta, istanbul; jihardists flowing into syria and iraq…while governments could do nothing with isis, the women protection units of the kurds do the job.

facing attacks from both isis and turkey government.these kurdish women bravely took up arms to protect their families and communities. they move one more step to try to organize democratic communities, and to gain autonomy from the dictatorship of the turkey government.

the videos in this programme give a brief introduction to their daily lives on the frontline and to their vision to resist against the suppression of patriarchy and capitalism, with all oppressed peoples.

what they are resisting are not only bullets and we, are also on the same frontline.

表演背後各有經歷:長期被囚禁、消音、虐待、歧視……然而,這班擁有不同能力的朋友,用各自喜愛的形式,真誠與人交流,堅定地現身。有人會看到「殘疾」;有人看到藝術;有人看到對「家」的訴求;有人看到自主;有人看到一副副被囚禁的身體……

這是個不一樣的抗議:不只是口號、控訴,而是邀請:來看見我是怎麼樣的人。

a film of eight performances by multiple performers…

performances created and informed by real-life experiences: experiences of long-term imprisonment, being erased and muted, maltreatment, discrimination…

differently abled performers sharing their lived experiences and their most authentic selves, using their most favored artistic medium(s)…

what is most salient about the performances might be different for all of us; some of us will see “disability", art, urging for “home", while others will see the assertion of autonomy or various forms of incarceration of bodies.

this is a different form of protest, not merely slogans or condemnations, but an invitation into understanding who we are.

當公共服務私營化,誰的生計將首當其衝?

2013年底,台灣的國家道路收費站全面改為電子收費,900多名收費員被迫轉職。辛勤多年,卻換來政府與大財團多次壓榨與刁難——這真是台灣勞工的悲哀。收費員唯有穿起橙衣,集體抗命,將身體移師到抗爭場地,讓公眾聽見他們被消音、扭曲的正當訴求,重建工人的自主與尊嚴。

在現今社會,只要滿足所謂程序、合同,一切都將被允許?工人運動應怎樣呈現自身?為自救而集體堵路的收費員,又如何與香港工運互相參照?

whose life will first be affected during public service privatization?

at the end of year 2013, all the taiwan freeway toll collection was changed from manual system to automatic system, over 900 toll collectors were forced to change their careers. having worked for years, they just got pressure and obstacles from the government and big enterprises. this is the sadness of taiwan workers. unwillingly, toll collectors wore orange shirts and started up their resistance group. they brought their body to protest sites to let the public hear their voice – the twisted and silenced justified requests and rebuilt the autonomy and pride of workers.

in current society, is everything allowed to be done when procedures and contracts are fulfilled? how can workers represent themselves in movements? is there any cross reference can be made between those toll collectors who block the road for helping themselves and those in hong kong workers movement?
